When I say people loathe the GOP, I am actually being nice.

It’s worse than that.

The disdain Republican voters have for their own party is stunning, and people like Mitch McConnell, Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, and Adam Kinzinger are only making it worse.

And this latest revelation is literally a political deathblow for the once Grand Old Party – it ain’t so “grand” anymore, folks.

I just don’t see how the Republican Party survives, given this latest news…the voters are at their wit’s end.

From Washington Examiner

Division by both sides on the directions of the Republican and Democratic parties has helped drive support for a national third party to an all-time high of 62%.

In the latest Gallup survey, just 33% are pleased with the two-party system.

What’s more, former President Donald Trump’s talk about his own “MAGA” party could be playing a role in a spike in GOP support for something new.

“Republicans’ record desire for a third party comes at a time when they are deciding whether to remain loyal to Trump or to move on from him,” according to the survey analysis just released.

“Currently, 68% of Republicans prefer that Trump remain the party leader, while 31% want the party to have a new leader. Republican-leaning independents, however, are divided, with 47% wanting Trump to continue leading and 51% preferring a new voice,” Gallup said. “Republicans’ preferences for a third party are similar among those who want Trump to continue to lead the party and among those who prefer a new leader.”

Had the GOP handled the 2020 election differently, maybe people wouldn’t be this mad.

But honestly, how could they have handled it any differently? It’s clear by their actions and words that they were in on it, so that’s why they refused to fight and demand actual audits and investigations.

It’s such a damning “look” for a political party to sit back and watch as 75+mllion of their voters believe their voice and their vote was stolen, and they literally did nothing…and worse than nothing, they appeared to be stonewalling.

And then, as if that was not bad enough, the GOP keeps needling and poking the bear after all that nastiness went down.

How does a political party survive that?

Chances are they don’t.

Rest in peace, GOP.
