We’re to believe that Joe Biden is such a devout Catholic that he will be given Holy Communion even though he supports abortion, even late-term.
So you’d think with that kind of grotesque leniency afforded to him, that Joe would at least be able to pronounce the keywords in the Bible, right?
Joe sounds like he’s talking about an old gypsy leader, “Palmist,” instead of a Psalm.

Well, throw out the bible, the Washington D.C. Archbishop Wilton Gregory says he’ll serve Holy Communion to Joe Biden, even though the proud Democrat supports aborting life.
And of course, Gregory said that he hopes that this decision will create a “conversational relationship” on Biden’s subject becomes the next U.S. President. The archbishop is currently in Rome and will become a cardinal on Saturday.
His remarks on Biden are a setback to reform: Gregory has substituted his own judgment for the law of the Church, and the Vatican’s instructions on how to apply it. That is precisely the kind of clericalism that made the McCarrick scandal possible. https://t.co/UsiRiyDN1G

Gregory told the Catholic News Service, “I hope it’s a real dialogue because I think that’s the mantra of Pope Francis – that we should be a church in dialogue, even with those with whom we have some serious disagreements.”
During the eight years Biden was Vice President under Barack Obama, he received communion, which also helped make up the archbishop’s mind who declared, “I’m not going to veer from that,” he said.
But for those of you that know your scriptures as I do, the Bible is specific:
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. – 1 Corinthians 11:29
In the past, Biden has called abortion an “essential health service.” This caused a South Carolina priest to deny Biden Holy Communion last year. Cardinal Raymond Burke, a former Prefect of the Apostolic Signatura, claimed Biden was not a “good standing” Catholic and should be denied Holy Communion.
Burke didn’t hold back any punches when he said, “A Catholic may not support abortion in any shape or form because it is one of the most grievous sins against human life, and has always been considered to be intrinsically evil.”
Again, read the scripture. A priest could be in trouble with God for giving someone not worthy communion, and that’s a brand new direction that I don’t have time to get into.
I understand Archbishop Gregory’s stance about having civil disagreements. Still, the bible is the bible, and nothing in the scriptures says, “but you can give Holy communion to unworthy recipients to open up a dialogue of conversation.”
This is not the first time Cardinal Burke called out Biden’s relationship with the church. He’s also criticized the former Senator on his stances with marriage and family, in addition to abortion.
Burke said, “I can’t imagine that he would present himself as a devout Catholic. He has a record that is unfortunately perfect in promoting the attack on the unborn’s innocent defense. He is also not correct on the issues about marriage and the family. The great darkness in our nation comes from the wholesale slaughter of the unborn, the attack on the family, all this gender theory … and now the attack on religious freedom.”
