Shep Smith is nothing without the slick studio, bright lights, and ratings over at Fox News.

When left to his own talent and devices, Shep totally flopped.

After storming off Fox News when Tucker Carlson got the better of him, Shep laid low for a while, before accepting a new gig on the low-rated CNBC.

He just finished up his first week over at good ol’ CNBC, and at the end of it, Shep got some very bad news.

He absolutely bombed.

In fact, it was so bad, that RERUNS of Lou Dobbs actually beat out Diva Shep.

Reruns…

Ouch.

MORE NEWS:  Fox News Host Chris Wallace Has Meltdown Over Biden’s Refusal to Address “Court-Packing”

From Bizpacreview

Whereas the hotheaded host used to attract an average of 1.3 million total viewers and 195,000 in the key demographic while hosting Fox News’ now-defunct “Shepard Smith Reporting,” these days he’s attracting only 25 percent of that.

“CNBC’s Shepard Smith averaged 322,000 total viewers in his first week of shows on the Comcast-owned business network, according to Nielsen Media Research,” The Hill’s Joe Concha reported Friday.

His Sept. 30th debut reportedly attracted 373,000 viewers, but the numbers quickly dropped to 321,000 by Oct. 1st.

Conversely, his competitor Martha MacCallum, the host of Fox News’ “The Story,” attracted 2.556 million viewers and 453,000 in the key demographic on Oct. 1st. This means she attracted more in the key demographic than he attracted total. Ouch.

According to numbers from Adweek, even CNN’s Erin Burnett and MSNBC’s Joy Reid outperformed him with 1.422 and 1.956 million viewers total, respectively. Double ouch.

And according to Concha, even a daily REPEAT episode of Fox Business Network’s “Lou Dobbs Tonight” has been outperforming him. Triple ouch. You’re out.

“Smith competes against a repeat of ‘Lou Dobbs Tonight’ on Fox Business at 7 p.m. ET. Over the past week from Sept. 30-Oct. 7, the Dobbs repeat averaged 335,000 viewers in topping Smith,” he reported.

So what might be causing him to perform so poorly? Perhaps dishonesty and bias?

Needless to say, Shep is not a big hit with the masses – not even the resist kooks.

Looks like Shep is just another fish in a massive ocean of Trump hate now.

At least when he was on Fox he was the “Resister” on Fox…now, he’s the same as all the other loons…and what’s so unique and interesting about that?
