So, according to Alyssa Milano’s Twitter video message, the guns Americans buy to protect themselves in their homes could end up being used in households, schools, churches, and bars.
By what chain of events would that happen? So far, all the guns most ever purchased have been used only at a gun range and remain in a safe under code and key or lock and key.
Actor and conservative James Woods, who just returned to Twitter a couple of months ago after a self-imposed year-long sabbatical, responded to an idiotic tweet from Milano that should be added to the Logic Hall of Fame.
“Americans bought over 2 million firearms in March of 2020, over a million more than this time last year,” wrote Milano, who backs Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.
Tying the gun statistics to the coronavirus outbreak, Milano then shared her advice for how the public should deal with the crisis.
“We have to keep each other safe by social distancing and washing our hands and not bringing dangerous firearms into our homes,” she wrote, adding the hashtags, #StopTheCoronavirusGunSurge and #NoRA.
In his reply, Woods suggested some gun buyers may have very pragmatic safety reasons for planning weapons purchases.
“Thank you for the reminder,” Woods wrote to Milano in retweeting her post. “When the looting starts, always be prepared. Buy more ammo!”

Woods is right when the dust settles, and the virus moves to a second or third place of importance. A destroyed economy plays the protagonist role until we get back on track, and some people try to keep going taking someone else savings, assets, stuff in general, guns and ammo, will keep the “Social Distance” enforced.
I wonder how much Alyssa has personally contributed to helping illegal immigrants that she loves so much. And how many poor unfortunates she has put up at her home. After all, she’s so caring and concerned.
Hey Alyssa, people buy guns for a variety of reasons, Not all of us can afford personal security people. Most of us feel that it’s better to have a gun and not need it than it is to need it and not have it. If this virus had a 50% mortality rate this country would effectively closed, meaning no food, no water, no electricity. When that happens, and one day it will, people will take what they need to survive and if you are in their way you will die. It’s been like that for ten thousand years.
The only thing that stands between life and death is that gun.
