Mitt Romney is in self-quarantine after he was near Senator Rand Paul, who tested positive for COVID-19.

Romney announced he was self-isolating this past week and recently took a Coronavirus test, that has come back negative.

But it’s President Trump’s reaction to the test results that has everyone talking.

Romney took to Twitter where he made the announcement that his test was negative.

“Thankfully I’ve tested negative for COVID-19. Nevertheless, guidance from my physician, consistent with the CDC guidelines, requires me to remain in quarantine as the test does not rule out the onset of symptoms during the 14-day period.”

President Trump also took to Twitter where he shared his feelings about Romney’s test results – and there’s definitely a bit of sarcasm and snark in the message, which Trump supporters definitely appreciated.

Trump wrote: This is really great news! I am so happy I can barely speak. He may have been a terrible presidential candidate and an even worse U.S. Senator, but he is a RINO, and I like him a lot!

As you can imagine, his comment unleashed a meltdown with liberals, who love Mitt Romney now.

“Karma is going to have a field day with you”

“If you support Trump, then you are on the wrong side of history.”

“A toddler in the White House under a pandemic. What could go wrong?”

However, Trump supporters enjoyed the snarky jab at the traitor Ropmeny who voted to remove President Trump from the White House during the sham impeachment.

“Brutal but True. If you don’t know anything else about #Trump is that he is brutally honest which is refreshing. You absolutely know where u stand with him. I don’t like @MittRomney, even though I voted for him, I glad he’s negative.”

“He should still quarantine for another few months though.”

Romney and Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) flew back on a private jet to Utah after learning Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), who he had close contact with in recent days, tested positive for the illness.

“If I were to get COVID-19 or if Mike were to get it, we would certainly want to be in a place where we have our own physicians and our own hospital,’ Romney said in an interview the Salt Lake Tribune. “If I’m in Washington, D.C., I don’t have a relationship with physicians there. And I don’t even know which hospital you go to.”

Romney said he will miss a vote expected Tuesday evening on Congress’s rescue package designed to alleviate Americans’ financial strain caused by the coronavirus outbreak.

“It’s very frustrating not to be there in the room where it happens, as they say,” Romney stated. “But I am doing my best to influence thinking and action, particularly on the Democratic side of the aisle.” [Breitbart]

We don’t want Mittens to take any chances.

Perhaps he should self-quarantine until his Senate term is up?
