Last night, Michael Bloomberg bought his way onto the Democratic primary debate stage – even though he’s not on the ballot in Nevada.

And while he got beat up pretty badly and was declared the debate loser by most experts and pundits, he did land one good punch against Democrat frontrunner Bernie Sanders.

Billionaire Mike Bloomberg invoked “communism” while slamming Sen. Bernie Sanders’ economic plan on Wednesday night.

“I can’t think of a way to make it easier for Donald Trump to get reelected than listening to this conversation,” Bloomberg said during Wednesday night’s primary debate in Nevada.

“This is ridiculous. We’re not going to throw out capitalism. We tried that. Other countries tried that. It was called communism and it just didn’t work.”

Both the Democratic socialist, Sanders, and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren jumped in with “whoa whoa whoa.”

Sanders maintained that the communism statement as a “cheap shot.”

“We are living in many ways in a socialist society right now,” Sanders said. [New York Post]

Bloomberg kept nipping at Sanders, and went so far as to call him “The best-known socialist in the country happens to be a millionaire with three houses.”

That’s when Berne’s cheeks got red and he started to lose it.

“I work in Washington, house one,” Sanders said. “Live in Burlington, house two. Like thousands of other Vermonters, I have a summer camp. Which tax haven is your home?”

Bloomberg responded that he lives in New York and pays all his taxes.
