Joaquin Pheonix may be a gifted actor, but outside of his Hollywood career, he’s gone completely off his rocker.

Case in point, during this year’s Oscars, he went on a bizarre rant about how American’s are “disconnected from the natural world” and that we should stop putting milk in our cereal and coffee:

“I think that we’ve become very disconnected from the natural world and many of us, what we’re guilty of is an egocentric world view, the belief that we’re the center of the universe.”

“I think we’ve become very disconnected from the natural world. … We feel entitled to artificially inseminate a cow, and then we take her baby. Then we take her milk and put it in our coffee and our cereal,” Phoenix continued.

It was truly one of the strangest leftist rants thus far in 2020.

But a dairy farmer in Wisconsin is slamming Phoenix for his bizarre far-left speech, saying “we help feed the world…what do you do, Mr. Phoenix?”

“We just wave it off and go, ‘Hey, ding-dong, you don’t have any idea what’s going on here at the farm,'” Oberhaus said. “I mean I’d love it if he’d come out here for a couple hours — that would be awesome. That’s an invite, Mr. Phoenix. C’mon out. See what life is like on the farm.”

But Oberhaus wasn’t done there. He went on to throw a barb of his own at the Hollywood actor for letting his ignorance turn into self-righteous judgment.

“You know, we feel we have real important jobs in the world, we help feed the world. It’s kind of important that people have food to eat. And what do you do, Mr. Phoenix? Oh yeah, you entertain people. OK,” he said shrugging. [The Blaze]

This is just another case of a Hollywood elitist being far removed from everyday Americans and reality.

Why do these far-left actors think we give a hoot about their views on milk?
