More lies and more lies seem to be the Democrat’s only consistent approach.

On Sunday morning, Rep. Nancy Pelosi continued to push for witnesses in Pres. Trump’s impeachment trial to be held in the U.S. Senate after she sends the articles of impeachment this week, as promised. Pelosi is head of the House but not the Senate so many witnesses appearing would have to be approved by Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell.

All this talk about witnesses or not having them comes back to the House having a weak case. They voted it forward and don’t want to live with the case they pushed through the House in record time.

Pelosi tried to push a lie about how Bill Clinton allowed witnesses to come forward during his impeachment. The reason why she can do that is that she feels nobody remembers how that all went down. After the farce of the “impeachment hearings,” Pelosi is in no position to make pronouncements or demands.

Pelosi: “But the fact is is that the president of the United States — again, quite different from President Clinton, President Clinton allowed witnesses to come forward — President Trump has prevented that from happening.”

When George Stephanopoulos asked Pelosi why Democrats didn’t wait for the courts to rule, she said she was confident in their case moving forward.

Pelosi: “How long do the courts take? We have confidence in our case that this is impeachable, and the president is impeached for life, regardless of any gamesmanship on the part of Mitch McConnell. We’re confident in the impeachment, and we think that’s enough testimony to remove him from office.”

The people that were witnesses in the Clinton trials were NOT the President’s lawyers nor were they national security advisers which is a BIG difference but of course the media doesn’t want to talk about that distinction which is the critical Constitutional difference. Where are the so-called “Constitutional experts” when it comes to that major difference?

Most people just want Trump impeached because they hate his guts and are clueless about the law. An impeachable offense is a high crime or misdemeanor, which neither charge represents. If trying to withhold support for Iran unless they investigate Biden is a crime, then Biden himself has confessed and should be in prison.

Since Biden admitted that he did withhold funds unless the Ukrainians fired the prosecutor investigating the company that hired his son, then how can he run for office? There is no such crime for there is no statute against that action for if there was, then most of Capitol Hill would be in prison because they are bribed by lobbyists. This is all just politics and not constitutional.

But let us make one thing very clear. These charges are absolutely bogus looking at this from a legal standpoint not political. The charge of Obstruction of Congress is absolutely a joke. Under the separation of powers, Congress has no such right to break executive privilege any more than the Justice Department can arrest a Congressman when sitting in session. The Supreme Court would smack that down and probably unanimously. That amounts to Congressional Abuse of Power in direct contrast to the Constitution which Pelosi knows. She will go down as probably the worst speaker in the House in American history for this impeachment.

Congress should have gone to court and let the Judiciary decide that, but they knew they would lose. Historically, this impeachment will be looked at as the last straw that broke the back of the government. From here on out, this will ensure there will never be a return to bipartisanship.

They are trying desperately to put on more evidence that was never presented in the House and they still know this is unconstitutional.
