On Wednesday, Rep. Adam Schiff, House Intelligence Committee Chairman, announced open impeachment hearings would begin next week.

Of the first to testify will be William Taylor, top U.S. diplomat to Ukraine, George Kent, deputy assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian Affairs, which would be the first to publicly testify to the Democratic-led congressional committees regarding the investigation into Pres. Trump’s conduct with Ukraine.

I am laughing to myself because Schiff won’t be able to protect the “whistleblower” once this moves to the Senate. Then poor Adam is going to see the guy roll on him to protect himself!

The two will answer questions on Wednesday.

When do you think the country should re-open and get back to work?

A few things MUST happen before we get to these open-door public hearings. All emails and other documents collected so far must be released. Ltc Vindman’s entire testimony must be released. All exhibits entered and marked so far must be released.

ALL previous testimony, under oath, must be re-entered into the public record before any witness testimony. This is important because some or maybe all of the closed-door witnesses are going to be recalled and will have an opportunity to change or amend their previous testimony. The public needs to be made aware of those changes.

While this is happening, the White House is attempting to fight against the media claims that Pres. Trump participated in a quid-pro-quo with the Ukrainian government.

White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham released this statement:

“Both transcripts released today show there is even less evidence for this illegitimate impeachment sham than previously thought.  Ambassador Sondland squarely states that he “did not know, (and still does not know) when, why or by whom the aid was suspended.”  He also said he “presumed” there was a link to the aid—but cannot identify any solid source for that assumption.

By contrast, Volker’s testimony confirms there could not have been a quid pro quo because the Ukrainians did not know about the military aid hold at the time.  No amount of salacious media-biased headlines, which are clearly designed to influence the narrative, change the fact that the President has done nothing wrong,”
