Is Rep. Nancy Pelosi “meddling” in other country’s affairs? Is she a representative of the American people or a foreign ambassador?
Rep. Nancy Pelosi has traveled to Jordan with other Democrats seemingly to undermine Pres. Trump and his decision to bring U.S. troops that were in the region, home to America. Pelosi’s so-called agenda is to discuss a “deepening crisis” in Syria amid a shaky U.S.-brokered cease-fire.
Where is it written in the Constitution that has any role in foreign policy negotiations with other nations? It is not. That is a power solely granted to the president.
Pelosi represents one (1) U.S. House district out of 435 with 235,000 people. Pres. Donald Trump received over 62 million American voters from across the United States and campaigned on withdrawing U.S. troops from the middle east, and getting the U.S. out of this never-ending war that started in 1990 with Desert Storm.
The visit came after bipartisan criticism in Washington has slammed President Donald Trump for his decision to withdraw the bulk of U.S. troops from northern Syria — clearing the way for Turkey’s wide-ranging offensive against the Kurdish groups, who had been key U.S. allies in the fight against the Islamic State group.
Turkey agreed on Thursday to suspend its offensive for five days, demanding the Kurdish forces withdraw from a designated strip of the border about 30 kilometers deep (19 miles).
Pelosi, along with the nine-member Congressional delegation, met with Jordan’s King Abdullah II in the capital of Amman late Saturday for talks focusing on security and “regional stability,” according to a statement from her office.
“With the deepening crisis in Syria after Turkey’s incursion, our delegation has engaged in vital discussions about the impact to regional stability, increased flow of refugees, and the dangerous opening that has been provided to ISIS, Iran and Russia,” said the statement, using the Islamic State group’s acronym. Pelosi seems concerned about Syrian refugees flooding Jordan but actively supports refugees from Mexico and Central America flooding America.
The U.S. House has no governmental jurisdiction under the U.S. Constitution and separation of powers to conduct international diplomacy. It is very apparent, Pelosi as House speaker is attempting a coup attempt of the legitimate dually elected POTUS and acting as a shadow President.
Pelosi, as well as other U.S. House members pushing this coup attempt, should immediately upon return to the United States be arrested for treason. To subversively collude and negotiate with a foreign government against the policies and best interest of the United States, is the very nature and definition of Treason. This is the equivalent of Benedict Arnold, working against revolutionary forces’ best interests to secure the U.S. colonies, and form the United States under the U.S. Constitution.
Pelosi and the Democrats are undermining Pres. Trump’s foreign policies even more by going there. Here’s my question to the media and DC politicians — were the Kurds our allies ten years ago when they were fighting with Turkey – a NATO ally? Nope. When ISIS, the JV team as Barack Obama called them, took over a large swath of Syria, were the Kurds our allies? Maybe because we had a common enemy — ISIS. We joined with the Kurds to defeat ISIS. The Kurds did it to TAKE BACK their homeland. They are no more our allies than Turkey. It’s Syria’s problem now.
We don’t need to be in an endless civil war, that’s a job for the U.N. Democrats are now warmongers going in trying to do regime change.
The Democrats in Congress do not represent “we the people.” but what is only their agenda but not the people of the USA — there are more things to fix in our country. America is also tired of Democrats and their impeachment talk. If you want someone out of office, we have elections to vote in and out office by the people, some people in the political arena over 20 to 30 years, and still can’t get things done!
If Pelosi doesn’t like Trump’s Syrian Policy, as Speaker, she can always bring the Declaration of War vote to the floor.
Pelosi and our Congress can’t take care of our border, but they’re in Syria discussing how to run theirs. And I guess the official but not official extremely critical impeachment inquiry (witch hunt) isn’t that important after all.
Pelosi is acting like she was elected president, and this needs to stop right now. She hasn’t the power to negotiate a deal with foreign governments, that is in the executive branch. Talk about abuse of power.
