We were among the very first publications to tell you that the Fox News “impeachment poll” was pure garbage. We came out 4 days ago with our story on this phony poll.

Will Dems Impeach Barr Over Shep Smith? ?Dem Lawmaker Suggests Willam Barr Behind Shepard Smith Outing at Fox News, Floats ‘Investigation’

We told you exactly what they did in order to rig the poll to get the result they were looking for:

Here’s what they did:

Independent voters are strongly against impeachment by a large majority.

So Fox News had to keep that indy number low in order to increase the preference for impeachment.

For this poll, they kept the independent sample at a ridiculous 12% – even though independents were a whopping 34% of the 2016 electorate.

That’s a big under-sampling.

They kept that indy number low, because so many independents are against impeachment. If they sampled 34% independents the poll would be like 62% against impeachment (don’t quote me on that, I am not a mathematician), but you get the picture.

The poll is not an honest representation of the electorate as we know it, so the result is skewed, and it’s also further proof that Fox News is in the tank for Dems and Deep State. [WayneDupree.com]

We also were among the first to report on the LGBTQ activist pollster, Amanda Bruan, who Fox News hired to conduct the poll.

Amanda Danielle Braun and Elizabeth Anne Shirey were married June 16. Rabbi Laurie E. Green officiated at the Mill at Fine Creek, an events space in Powhatan, Va.

Ms. Braun (left), 28, is the deputy organizing director and training director in the Richmond, Va., chapter of For Our Future, a political action committee that supports progressive issues and candidates. In 2016, she was a regional organizing director, in Reading, Pa., for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. She graduated from Wellesley College. [New York Times]

We also reported on Greg Gutfled, calling out the dishonest poll during a clash with  Juan Williams on an episode of “The Five.”

“I’ve been seeing this poll everywhere and I know it’s a Fox News poll but we got to point out that it’s weighted toward Democrats,” Gutfeld said. “From what I’ve seen, it’s 48 percent Democrats, 40 percent Republicans, 12 percent other. So it’s weighted for that.”

“Also, it is being taken at the fever pitch of media coverage about a single topic, so what do you expect,” he added — that being the current impeachment frenzy in the media.

In effect, Gutfeld said that time is sure to have an impact on the results.

“You’ve got all the Democrats, plus or minus 3 percent, saying they want him out,” he noted. “That’s not a big finding. That’s not a surprise. In a month or so, when all this stuff fades, let’s see where it is now.”

“We have to remind ourselves how many Democrats and how many Republicans are in this poll and these polls have been known to be wrong,” Gutfeld said. “Sorry for bringing it up. But if you’re going to put it on the table at The Five we get to respond.”

And now, we’re thrilled to report that large publications like New York Post have conducted their own independent analysis and concluded that the Fox News poll is rigged and dishonest.

The poll released last week by Fox News that claimed most Americans favor the impeachment of President Trump underrepresented Republican and independent voters, The Post has found.

The poll said 51% of voters were in favor of Trump’s impeachment and removal from office, while 40% did not want him impeached.

Princeton, New Jersey, pollster Braun Research, which conducted the survey, noted 48% of its respondents were Democrats. But the actual breakdown of party-affiliation is 31% Democrat, 29% Republican and 38% independent, according to Gallup.

A poll weighted for party affiliation would have concluded that 44.9% favored impeachment and 44.4% opposed it, a Post analysis has concluded.

The poll prompted Trump to tweet: “Whoever [Fox News’] Pollster is, they suck.”
