A Rutgers University women’s and gender studies professor from New Jersey, suggested that racism and President Trump’s policies are responsible for black female obesity.
Brittney Cooper made her absurd and “victimhood” argument during an appearance on “Black Women OWN the Conversation” that appears on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
Cooper goes on to say, “I hate when people talk about Black women being obese. I hate it, because it becomes a way to blame us for a set of conditions that we didn’t create.”
“We are living in the Trump era,” Cooper said, “and look, those policies kill our people. You can’t get access to good health care, good insurance.”
Someone should tell her that Obama created the insurance mess.
Cooper said that research shows black women losing less weight and at a slower rate than white women, claiming that public health practitioners have linked an increase in “stress” to slower metabolisms.
So, she thinks Trump is stressing out these woman and slowing down their metabolisms? ?
Maybe it’s those hopeless and failed Democrat polices that are stressing them out?
She added, “it’s literally that the racism that you’re experiencing and the struggle to make ends meet actually means the diet don’t [sic] work for you the same.”

Well, the good news is, apparently Trump is making white people fat too. Back in 2018, singer Barbara Streisand also blamed Trump for making her fat. According to Babs, the stress of Trump was forcing her to eat pancakes.
The actress-singer said in an interview with The New York Times published Tuesday that if the Democrats don’t at least win back the House in next week’s elections, she’s considering moving to Canada, for her waistline’s sake at least.
“I want to sleep nights, if we take the House I’ll be able to sleep a little bit better,” Ms. Streisand said, adding that if not, she’s “thinking about” heading for the land of poutine, Tim Horton’s and (most importantly) maple syrup.
“I’ve been thinking about, do I want to move to Canada? I don’t know. I’m just so saddened by this thing happening to our country,” she said.
The next words out of her mouth in the interview excerpted by The Times were “it’s making me fat.”
She added: “I hear what he said now, and I have to go eat pancakes now, and pancakes are very fattening. We make them with healthy flour, though — almond flour, coconut flour.” [Washington Times]
