Somebody is scared.

John Brennan, the former CIA top shot in the Obama administration, and the suspected lead in the coup against President Trump, is reversing course, after announcing that he will be interviewed by U.S. Attorney John Durham as part of the “investigate the investigators” probe AG Bill Barr requested.

Brennan announced the upcoming interview during an appearance on CNN, and I think you’ll agree that he seems “nervous.” His voice is about 10 octaves higher than usual.

Brennan’s change in tone is remarkable. He’s gone from a belligerent chaos agent, bragging and boasting about all the good he and his intel buddies did in uncovering the Russia hoax, to now claiming that he may have been “fooled” by “bad information.”

Gee, what a great intel guy he is.

Of course we all know Brennan was not “fooled” by anything – he manufactured fake evidence to try and snare Trump in his (failed) coup attempt.

Former head of the CIA John Brennan admitted on Monday that he may have relied on “bad information” for his relentless attacks on President Trump.

Brennan — who once warned that “our Nation’s future is at stake” — told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that he may have been misled on the extent of Trump’s connections to Russia.

“Well, I don’t know if I received bad information but I think I suspected there was more than there actually was,” Brennan said. “I am relieved that it’s been determined there was not a criminal conspiracy with the Russian government over our election.”

The former spy chief was reacting to a summary report by Attorney General William Barr released on Saturday that states there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Brennan still maintained that there were inappropriate attempts to communicate with the Kremlin but said he was “not all that surprised that the high bar of criminal conspiracy was not met.” [New York Post]

Recently James Clapper appeared on CNN, where he threw Obama under the bus. He also appeared nervous as he spoke about the Durham probe.

The fact that Brennan (and Clapper) are showing nervousness as the investigation by Durham heats up, is a good sign. Let’s hope that they’re hearing “bad news” from their sources and that’s why they’re appearing concerned.
