During half-time at a women’s soccer game in Portland, the fans booed U.S. Military enlistees as they took their oath.
The triggering moment came when the enlistees were asked to pledge an oath to follow orders from their commander-in-chief.
Thankfully, the enlistees earned applauds at the end of the ceremony, but the line, “obey the orders of the president of the United States,” earned loud boos from the fans.

Regardless, complete and total disrespect, and yet another example of “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
Soccer fans booed U.S. Armed Forces enlistees this week at a swearing-in ceremony that took place at a match between the Portland Thorns and the North Carolina Courage.
The fans were booing the fact that the enlistees had to at one point pledge to follow the orders of their commander-in-chief, President Donald Trump. Agreeing to follow the orders of the president, by the way, is part of every swearing-in ceremony for every man or woman who joins the U.S. Armed Forces.
The National Women’s Soccer League game took place in Providence Park in Portland, Oregon.
The young enlistees earned applause after the swearing-in ceremony was complete, but the line “obey the orders of the president of the United States” earned a surprising amount of boos from the crowd.
The National Women’s Soccer League does not have a code of conduct for fans, but political signage has been banned at games.
The booing may have been bad luck for the Thorns as they ended up losing the game 6-0.

It’s a sad day when grown adults politicize every little thing in life. That’s no way to live. No wonder these people are so unhappy and hateful.
