Speaker Pelosi isn’t having a very good day.

Angry Deer Caught in Headlights:Visibly Angry Pelosi Stammers and Slurs Through Impeachment Questions From Press

She went from angrily stammering through an awkward press conference on impeachment, to claiming the Democrat loser in a hot-bed contest is actually the “winner.”

What?

The race that Pelosi is referring to was in North Carolina, and it was a “must win” for the Dems. The NC win was going to show everyone how motivated they were to take back the White House.

But it didn’t happen, despite the fact that Dems through everything they had into it.

President Trump rode into town at the last minute, held a barn-burner rally, and the Republican made a comeback victory and won the race.

Yet, somehow, according to Pelosi, that’s really a “win” for Democrats.

Talk about a desperate spin job…

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claimed that Democrat Dan McCready “won the campaign” in North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District.

McCready lost the special election to Republican State Sen. Dan Bishop by roughly 2%, but Democrats took solace in how close the election was. President Donald Trump won the district in 2016 by around 12% over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

“I’m very proud of Dan McCready. He’s a great patriot. He’s an independent voice for the district that he would have represented,” Pelosi said. “It’s too bad he’s not coming here. But he did a great job.”

Pelosi noted the difference between McCready’s performance and the performances of recent Democratic presidential nominees in the district. (RELATED: House Judiciary Committee Passes Resolution Making Impeachment Inquiry More Likely)
