On Sunday morning, former Republican Congressman Joe Walsh officially announced his candidacy for the 2020 Republican nomination, vowing to defeat incumbent Pres. Donald J. Trump.
“Friends, I’m in. We can’t take four more years of Donald Trump. And that’s why I’m running for President. It won’t be easy, but bravery is never easy. But together, we can do it. Join me… join us: go to http://joewalsh.org . Let’s show the world we’re ready to be brave.”

Since Walsh exited Congress a few years ago, he has used his Twitter timeline to bash Republicans and more Pres. Trump with reckless abandon. He also is known for using his timeline to call Barack Obama a Muslim and was also pranked by comedian Sacha Baron Cohen into showing support for arming kindergarten students with guns.
Joe Walsh, a former Illinois congressman ad tea party favorite turned radio talk show host, announced a longshot challenge Sunday to President Donald Trump for the Republican nomination in 2020, saying the incumbent is “completely unfit” for office and must be denied a second term.
“Somebody needs to step up and there needs to be an alternative” among Republicans, Walsh told ABC’s “This Week,” adding that “the country is sick of this guy’s tantrum. He’s a child. … He lies every time he opens his mouth.”
Already in the race is former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld.
Walsh narrowly won a House seat from suburban Chicago in the 2010 tea party wave but lost a 2012 reelection bid and has since hosted a radio talk show. He has a history of inflammatory statements regarding Muslims and others and declared just before the 2016 election that if Trump lost, “I’m grabbing my musket.” [Associated Press]
“Who we all know is unfit.” I have a big problem with people that think they know what I think. If at work, home, with friends, those click-bait youtube videos that start with “that no one knows” or “that you missed” and such. To me, this has always been the lowest form of trying to convince others of something.
Futility in action, or perhaps I should say that a Never-Trumper is hungry for attention so he can boost his radio audience. That is all he can hope to accomplish because he hasn’t a chance against a man who continues to have the firm support of virtually all those who first voted for him and now who has gained the support of many more who have seen him take all that has been thrown against him and yet he is stronger than ever.
Some say Walsh’s past will come into play, which includes his tweets:
Joe Walsh’s pitch is quite literally:
“Look, you’re complete racists for voting for Trump, you should #BeBrave and vote for me next time.”

This guy is easily pranked, and yet he wants us to trust him? Wait. Make that he wants us to not laugh at him. Well, neither one of those is going to happen.
I am positively sure Walsh won’t get over one percent, so this campaign is already over. What do you have to say about it?
