On Saturday, instead of focusing on informing the public about the situation in El Paso, MSNBC’s Ali Velshi turned this into a war against “white” nationalism, by warning Americans that they were more likely to get attacked by them instead of Islamic terrorists.
I get being caught up in the moment but using the tragedy in El Paso to push your hate agenda against those that love this country is beyond the pale. Yes, I have always made a clear distinction between white supremacy and any color nationalists, but the media has the big microphone so their narrative wins for now.
Velshi: “You are certainly at greater risk in 2019 in America of being a victim of white nationalism than you are of being a victim of ISIS-Islamic terrorism, agreeing with Pete Buttigieg’s tweet calling white nationalism a threat to national security.
Our country is under attack from white nationalist terrorism, inspiring murder on our soil and abetted by weak gun laws. If we are serious about national security, we must summon the courage to name and defeat this evil.
