Dr. Ben Carson, current Housing and Urban Development Secretary, spent many years working and living in Baltimore and he knows what he is talking about when it comes to the filth Pres. Trump was speaking about when he called out Rep. Elijah Cummings last weekend.

Carson comes from poverty and knows poor communities have money coming in but nothing gets fixed. Not one child who graduated from any Baltimore public high school was proficient in math or reading, that is not the fault of the children.

A member of the Morning Star Baptist Church of Christ asked Carson’s staffers and the media to leave its vacant lot because they had not asked for permission to use it for the Secretary’s briefing. Cummings was invited to meet Carson in Cummings district, he decided not to respond or show up.

Carson spoke about the divide in our country and brought up the example of the church telling them to move so they couldn’t use the grounds: “For instance, you guys know, you were set up on this property, and right here is this church that said: ‘Get off our property.’ You know, a church? When we’re talking about helping the people. I mean, this is the level to which we have sunken as a society,” he said.

President Donald Trump’s Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson tried to give an impromptu press conference discussing Baltimore’s problems at a local church, but was swiftly booted off the property by church officials.

“There are a lot of excellent and wonderful people here,” Carson said, according to Baltimore’s CBS Local. “And there are a lot of good places in Baltimore as well. But there are problems and we can’t sweep them under the rug.”

Carson worked as a renowned neurosurgeon out of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore for decades before going into politics, and decided to speak out in defense of some of Trump’s controversial statements about the city.

Carson’s last-minute press conference came after Trump fired off a series of tweets over the past weekend slamming the city of Baltimore and one of its representatives, Rep. Elijah Cummings, over its living conditions. [Business Insider]

Carson’s comments continued, comparing the city of Baltimore to cancer: “You can dress them up and put a nice suit on them, and you can try to ignore it, but that cancer is going to have a devastating effect. You have to be willing to address that issue if you are ever going to solve it.”

The truth is the people in Baltimore are glad the President spoke up about the city, he is not calling the people, but their living condition, the Media just want to make it about race, when the people who really live there know the President is right. How many gun shooting murder are happening, crooked cops, drug, and etc.

The people there have been ignored long enough when media and politicians talked about Baltimore, they are talking about the business hub area, the city part where thousand of police are stationed, rare drive-by shooting that separate families, areas where politicians go to throw parties.

What the President is talking about is the part of Baltimore everyone is ignoring and covering, the part where resident live in fear among the rats, roaches, and garbage-filled lawns, the people themselves did this to that part and their representatives used that to enrich their coffer, but do nothing to help the city and its resident out. This is what happens when you give freebies away to people, they don’t take care of it.

So what the DNC politicians are doing with debt forgiveness, reparation, and anything they can throw money at it is just making it worse by covering up with the money!

Thank you, Dr. Carson, for helping President Trump shine a light because the billions that have gone to Baltimore, as well as other cities, needs to be accounted for.
