The liberal media has been driven to the very brink of madness, thanks to a plague of TDS, or “Trump Derangement Syndrome” that is sweeping through their industry.
This incurable disease causes liberals to lose all common sense and professional dignity and forces them to singularly focus on outlandishly wild conspiracy theories, while they fester and bubble with hate and contempt.
TDS also causes reporters and journalists to lie and spread fake news, just like MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell did on Tuesday night during his show when he once again dredged up the failed and debunked “Russia conspiracy.”
Here’s what he said:
On Wednesday, O’Donnell walked back the outlandishly false and defamatory allegations he made about Trump’s business loans being ‘co-signed by Russian oligarchs’ – but only after President Trump’s attorney’s demanded a retraction. He started off with a tweet-apology, and later that night he graveled and apologized on-air.
Last night I made an error in judgment by reporting an item about the president’s finances that didn’t go through our rigorous verification and standards process. I shouldn’t have reported it and I was wrong to discuss it on the air. I will address the issue on my show tonight.

However, that’s not good enough, according to Eric Trump, who is now vowing to sue O’Donnell and MSNBC for the vicious lies and attacks against his family.
Hours before his sober, on-air mea culpa, (Lawrence) O’Donnell issued his first apology over the report on Twitter. “Last night I made an error in judgment by reporting an item about the president’s finances that didn’t go through our rigorous verification and standards process,” the MSNBC personality tweeted. “I shouldn’t have reported it and I was wrong to discuss it on the air. I will address the issue on my show tonight.”
In response, Eric Trump, the president’s son and executive vice president of the Trump Organization, said “apologies are not good enough” and vowed to take “legal action” against O’Donnell’s “reckless attempt to slander our family.”
Trump attorney Charles Harder sent a letter to NBCUniversal, MSNBC and NBC News’ parent company threatening to file a defamation lawsuit if their demands for a retraction are not met. Harder also accused NBC of neglecting to execute due diligence in corroborating the claim for “political reasons or other ulterior motives.”
Bradley Moss, a national security lawyer, told Newsweekon Wednesday that the lawsuit might not be successful but could result in a “fascinating level of discovery” about the president’s elusive finances. [News Week]
America is sick and tired of fake apologies and endless retractions from the fake news media. It’s time for these propaganda-pushers to be held accountable for their purposeful mistruths and dirty deeds against this president and his family.
