CNN’s Don Lemon thought if he couldn’t bring anyone from the Trump Administration on his show, that he would go after one of the Pastors that attended the Coalition of African-American Pastors meeting held at the White House on Monday.

Reverend Bill Owens appeared on Lemon’s show to take on the self-righteous Lemon who already had a chip on his shoulder that Owens doesn’t support same-sex marriage. The topic of the evening was Pres. Donald Trump condemning Elijah Cummings, but as CNN and the rest of the media are crafting the narrative — an attack on Baltimore.

Lemon started off the interview, asking Owens if any of the coalition members spoke to or showed concern about Trump’s attacks on “leaders of colors.” “I think something was said in passing,” Owens replied, though he tried to avoid addressing Trump’s remarks.

Lemon: “So the president tweeted today he was looking forward to his meeting with wonderful inner-city pastors. Any concern for you that the president used this meeting with black leaders to insulate himself from the criticism?”

Owens: “I don’t think so. I don’t think that at all because I have been to the White House four times in five months. There was nothing about insulating from anything. He wanted to hear from us, what our concerns were and what he could do to help us.”

As I said, Lemon isn’t an Owens fan because of his nonsupport of same-sex marriage, so you know Lemon had to add that question into the mix. Lemon reminded Owens of his previous position, which compared Barack Obama supporting same-sex marriage to condoning child molestation (comments the pastor walked back).

Lemon: “That in itself is an outrageous statement — why should anyone take you seriously?” The perfect response back would have been “does anyone take you seriously Lemon head?” Owens reaffirmed his position that same-sex marriage is “ungodly.”

Lemon: “So I know it’s hard for you, you think it’s hard to believe that Trump is racist. But he’s repeatedly used racially charged language. He consistently attacks black and brown elected leaders. So, why is that hard to believe, pastor?”

Owens: “I find President Trump leader of all colors. He attacks who he will. He’s his own man. I can’t dictate what he should or shouldn’t do. But he does not just attack black people. He attacks anybody, and you know it,”

Lemon: “So as a man of faith, as a Christian you’re saying he attacks anyone. It sounds like you’re condoning attacks? Is that Christianly or Godly?”

Owens: “I’m just stating a statement of fact. I’m not condoning anything. I’m stating a statement of fact. President Trump does not pick the people he attacks because of color. He attacks anybody he feels needs it.”

Lemon: “And is that okay with you?”

Owens: “Well I’m not his judge”

Do you think President Biden should be impeached for the crisis in Afghanistan and loss of American lives?

Remember when Lemon speculated that the missing Malaysia Airlines flight may have disappeared from the Earth because of a black hole. Why should anyone him seriously? Or all of CNN seriously? They are fake news.
