Ana Kasparian, co-host of The Young Turks, called out Meghan McCain over her abortion views which are allegedly different in private than they are in public.

Kasparian claims McCain’s anti-abortion view and calling the procedure murder are different from what she has said in private.

The “murder” view of abortion one is one carried by many conservatives who believe life begins at conception. Democrats believe life begins after the baby is delivered. Two stark contrasts couldn’t be farther apart, but that’s where the things stand. Listening to Kasparian speak about having a conversation with Meghan in private and revealing some of the details.

“I have a quick message for Meghan. Look, I just wish that you were honest about your real views on abortion.”

“Because her public statements about abortion are very different from her private statements about abortion,” she continued. “So, I’m just putting that out there, because I think it’s important for you to be honest, because women’s lives and livelihood is really being jeopardized here by you trying to win political brownie points by conservatives by saying things that you don’t actually believe.”

I tend to believe Kasparian in this situation because it doesn’t make sense for her to lie about it. What would it benefit from revealing a private conversation?

Meghan wants to be friends with liberals so she’s probably said a lot of other things that haven’t been made public too. This is what happens when you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas.

McCain considers herself culturally moderate conservative who supported marriage equality, and who said “I personally am pro-life, but I’m not going to judge someone that’s pro-choice. It is not my place to judge other people and what they do with their body.”

I am anti-abortion and I believe it’s murder, but I don’t believe I have the right to tell a woman what to do with their body. I’ve always been like this and I will continue to be this way.
