Joaquin Phoenix doesn’t even have to act. He can show up with no script and be himself.

Phoenix is a great actor; there’s no disputing that, but he has a lot to live up to if he can match Heath Ledger’s character in The Dark Knight, which in my opinion was the best portrayal of any character of all time. I have to admit this first trailer of the JOKER, is on its way.

“I used to think my life was a tragedy, but now I realize it’s a comedy,” says Arthur Fleck, the unfortunate man who will become Bruce Wayne’s Batman future nemesis.

Those words by Fleck give a haunting way to think about the Joker, especially when you see the trailer. While viewing the trailer for the upcoming movie, Fleck wanted to pursue a lifelong goal in making people laugh, making the world laugh but through  a series of traumatic events, such as beatings, ridicule, loss, and some creepy dancing with his mother, there’s a sadistic turn that enables his transformation into the Joker.

The trailer showed the intro basics, but it was so creepy, I can only image what he will do for an encore.

The Joker movie arrives in movies theaters on October 4, 2019.
